Thailand is an incredible place to visit. There is much to see and experience with its exotic sights, sounds, tastes and culture.
Thailand is a fantastic tropical destination that is both easily accessible and unique.
Nestled between Laos, Burma,
Cambodia and Malaysia, Thailand’s people are warm, friendly and happy to share all their country has to offer.
The cuisine is excellent, and the arts and crafts are a rich tapestry of workmanship and traditions. It is a country
of extraordinary contrasts from the bustling city of Bangkok to jungles, forests, small villages and beautiful beaches.
In
Thailand, you can visit magnificent Buddhist temples, or hunt for treasure in street bazaars and Floating Market of Bangkok.
You can enjoy an elephant trek through the jungle on one day - and take a boat ride down the famous canals on the next. Khao
Yai National Park (A UNESCO World Heritage Site), Chiang Mai, and the Golden Triangle are exceptionally unique places that
should not be missed.
Thailand is the world’s largest producer of rice, producing 20% of the worlds supply. Thailand
also is a large rubber producer. If you trek into the jungle you will see an amazing ecosystem and a wide variety of birds
and animals, including: Macaques, Hornbills and Gibbons.
Thai culture and its traditional arts can be seen and experienced
through demonstrations and classes in: Thai Etiquette (walking sitting, social interactions, hand movements); Thai Dance (both
movement and gestures); Traditional Flower arranging, and Lai Thai or Thai Design. These living arts are taught by master
local teachers and show the common traditions that run through all of the arts.
Thailand is also known for its Lanna
style textile weaving, incredible ceramics, and its delicious cuisine.
