We enjoy a private seated breakfast served on the outside terrace of Um Qais rest house overlooking the great panorama of Tiberius lake and the Heights of Golan and the Mountains of in Lebanon.  After the visit of this site, we depart to the wonderful city of Jerash, one of the best-preserved Roman provincial towns in the world. It offers a wealth of paved and colonnaded streets, prominent temples, magnificent theaters, public squares and plazas. We enjoy a tour of the ancient city, strolling past the antique relics of this past civilization.

Following the tour, we step back in time to experience a taste of Roman warfare and entertainment with a show of Roman army techniques, gladiator fights and chariot racing. Jerash is the only place in the world where you can watch this kind of show in its original setting. The live re-enactment takes place at the ancient Hippodrome, where the original seating (which used to seat 15,000 people) has been restored for a capacity of 600.

Afterwards, we will have lunch at one of the most popular restaurants in Jerash – the Lebanese House. In the afternoon we depart to the western part of Amman to the Royal Stables, where we will admire the fine Arabian horses and will listen to some explanations about Arabian horses breeding in Jordan by one of the people in charge of this charming place.

Next, return to our hotel in Amman for free time at leisure until dinner at Fakhreddin.
